Dear Fellow Book Lovers,

Welcome to the Book Attic's web site.  Please come visit the attic, it is
located in Central.  The Attic's objectives are:

  • to promote reading interest and the use of English language by
organising monthly book lover gathering, book club, poetry club,
and children story time etc., & etc.
  • to promote environmental and heritage awareness by sharing
books among book lovers as no matter how small an action we
    take, it counts.
  • to share with book lovers the joy of reading by offering quality
used books at a greatly reduced price.
How to go to The Book Attic.
  • The Book Attic has moved to:
    Cockloft, 2 Elgin Street, Central
  • Elgin Street is one of the earliest street in Hong Kong, it has two
sections, The Book Attic is located at a low elevation section
just above junction with 66 Hollywood Road where a Chinese
noodle stall in green is located at the street corner.  Look up for
the bookshop signs! You enter through a metal door at street level
and the cockloft is in 1st floor.
  • Please click map below.  DO NOT follow Google map's
suggestion to go to Sheung Wan as The Book Attic is in
Central.  Get on the escalator on Queen's Road Central in or
near Central Market, going up toward mid-level direction.  Leave
the escalator at Hollywood junction, walk pass "Goods of Desire" 3
blocks toward the west and you'll find see a green Chinese noodle
stall at the street entrance, look up and you'll see the bookshop's
    sign is on your left.
Look forward to seeing you at The Book Attic where browsers are always welcome.

Auspicious Wish
At this very moment, for the peoples and the nations of the earth, may not even the names disease, famine, war, and suffering be heard.
Rather may their moral conduct, merit, wealth, and prosperity increase, and may supreme good fortune and wellbeing always arise for them.
