It is easy to go to The Book Attic.

  • The Book Attic is a 'Not for Profit' company located on Amoy
Street near Queen's Road East.  Amoy Street runs between
Queen's Road East, opposite Hopewell Center, to Johnston
    Road, opposite Southorn Playground.
  • The Book Attic is only a short 15 minute walk from the Hong
Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre or Wan Chai Ferry
    Pier.
  • Tram cars run both ways on Johnston Road and there are
stops right at the entrance to Amoy Street.
  • From the entrance on Amoy Street, a short flight of stairs
leads to an attic.  Yes... an attic full of used books.

Dear Fellow Book Lovers,

Welcome to the Book Attic's web site and I would like to invite you
to visit
The Book Attic, located in a historic area of colourful Wan
Chai.  The attic's objectives are:

  • to promote reading interest,
  • to promote environmental and heritage awareness by
sharing books among book lovers as no matter how
small an action we take, it counts.
  • and to share with book lovers the joy of reading by
offering quality used books at a greatly reduced price.

In addition to offering quality used books in The Book Attic at
great discount, I will also give you credit for the books that you no
longer want to keep, and are interested in sharing the joy that you
have in reading them with others.  You can use the book lover
credit to off set the list price partially to purchase other quality
used book in The Book Attic.

Complimentary ~ While you are perusing the collection in the
Book Attic, you can sample with my compliments an interesting
variety of Chinese tea.  What better way to stimulate your mind,
and relax your body after strolling through one of the most
interesting areas in Hong Kong that combines the colours and
history of Wan Chai with the dynamism of a fast-paced world city?
I look forward to seeing you at The Book Attic where browsers are always welcome.
