There are beautiful 22 coloured plates of paintings and many drawings by more than 40 varied artists. 22 Authors included J.M. Barrie, G.A. Birmingham, Hall Caine, Ralph Connor, A. Conan Doyle, J. H. Favre, Ellen Thorneycroft Fowler, Charles Garvice, H. Rider Haggard, Beatrice Harraden, Rudyard Kipling, and many more. |

| "The Chandos Classics: The Poetical Works of Robert Burns" Published by Frederick Warne and Co. in 1890. Cover and spine have gilt, dark brown and green title and floral designs blindstamped on dark beige cloth. |

| "Arthur and His Knights" by Christine Chaundler Published by Inset & Co., Ltd. in 1900s. Front cover and spine have black and white illustrations printed and blindstamped on green cloth. It contains 8 full-page beautiful coloured plates by T. Mackenzie. 312 pages. Spine and corners bumped, little foxing on outer page edges, a few on some pages, it is in very good condition. Each illustration is a piece of art, thus this is one of my favourite rare books. |
