Auspicious Wish
At this very moment, for the peoples and the nations of the earth, may not even the names disease, famine, war, and suffering be heard.
Rather may their moral conduct, merit, wealth, and prosperity increase, and may supreme good fortune and wellbeing always arise for them.

When I watched the evening news on May 4th, I
felt the anxious of the guests in MetroPark Hotel
who were being quarantined for 7 days there.  (I
had similar experience during 921 earthquake in
1999 while I was working in Taichung.  I slept
outdoor for 3 days in a car park without a book
and not able to go home.)  On behalf of all book
lovers in Hong Kong, I donated more than 140
hardcovers and trade-paperbacks to the guests
in MetroPark Hotel the next day because  I
believe all book lovers in Hong Kong would do
the same if they have the time and resource.  I
didn't expect to be interviewed though.

The Book Attic is mentioned in
Sunday New York Times
under the Travel section
where they describe the
current scene in Wan Chai.

I've never dreamt of getting
international media attention
on the Book Attic because the
attic is so tiny and young
compares to other well
established bookshops in
neighbourhood, thus I feel
very grateful and humble. It is
a great encouragement!

My dear fellow book lovers
and the friendly local and
international media personnel,
thank you for your support!
