I would like to share with you a song "The Day You Went Away" composed
by my friend
Alan Brown  after he learnt the following story from night news
during home visit in Australia.  It is a rough practice copy by Alan but you will
get the general idea. It is best to listen to this through headphones.  I hope
you will like it.

The story is about a lady doctor, approx 33 years old, in New South Wales
in Australia who was recently married, had leukaemia and was pregnant.
She had a choice to make, take her medicine and get well and put the baby
at risk or not to take the medicine and have a healthy baby but put herself at
risk. She chose the latter and died shortly after childbirth. To make things
even harder, her husband is this American guy who is now living alone as a
single parent in Australia. They hadn't been married for very long when she
died. Alan wrote the song from the widower's perspective.
