| The first book lovers gathering was successfully host by Geoffrey Emerson on Sunday 8th October 2008 in the Attic. Geoffrey Emerson, an experienced teacher born in upstate New York and author of a book on Hong Kong history published in 2008 by HK University Press - 'Hong Kong Internment 1942-1945 - Life in the Japanese Civilian Camp at Stanley', Geoff is a Council member of the Royal Asiatic Society and has taught English in Hong Kong for more than forty years. |
